Little House of Glencoe is a small gem nestled in the woods and is the perfect place for any event!  This nature spot offers space for a campfire, cookout, birthday party, camp out, meetings and even weddings!  Originally a Girl Scout camp, the Little House of Glencoe is available for rent and serves the North Shore towns of Glencoe, Highland Park, Northbrook, Deerfield, Glenview, Wilmette, Skokie, Evanston, Winnetka, Kenilworth, and beyond.

Little House is located in the Forest Preserve District of Cook County’s “Skokie Lagoons” in Glencoe, IL. It is a one room heated building with the feeling of a country cottage and is complete with a kitchen, bathroom with two toilets, small stage and fireplace. The house also includes an enclosed patio complete with fireplace! Outside is a campfire ring and plenty of space for camping.

HOUSE RULES:

Due to COVID, we will not allow more than one rental per weekend. Back to back weekday rentals will not be allowed. 

*GROUP SIZES: Due to COVID, all groups MUST BE NO MORE THAN 20 PEOPLE. Any rental request that is for more than 20 will be denied. *Board members of Little House have the right to stop by unannounced during a rental period if the need arises. If a group is found to have more than 20 people during their rental, the renter will lose their deposit. 

*CLEANING: All renters are required to leave Little House as clean as they found it. If the house is left in any condition other than the way it was found, the renter WILL lose their deposit. No exceptions!!

NON-PROFIT GROUPS: All non-profit groups will be required to provide an official document that proves your non-profit status in order to request the non-profit rate.

*You MUST be 21 years of age or older to rent The Little House of Glencoe. Proof of age may be requested. If a group has people that are under 21, a person over 21 MUST be present during the ENTIRE rental period.  If a renter is found to be under the age of 21, the renter will lose their deposit.
